It's been a while since I've written. I blame it on my uncanny way of forgetting my camera and believing that blogging is only kosher when pictures are involved.
But I have something I wanna write about. I heard about this show, secret millionaire and people said it was pretty good. Late last night Stephen had to unexpectedly go to the school and so, feeling bad for myself, I decided to treat myself to a little Hulu watching. I looked up and watched the first episode of secret millionaire.
AMAZING.
Seriously. There is so much crap out there on tv. Sex, drugs, beautiful rich people doing nothing with their lives, blah blah blah. (I'm not totally exempt from being sucked into some of these shows, but that's another blog for another time...actually I'll keep what shows I like to myself). Anyway, this show was so INSPIRING. How many shows can you say that about? It was humbling and it made me want to be a better person. I love that a show that promotes service and the lives of everyday Americans can be popular. Anyway, I highly recommend everyone giving this show a chance. I literally bawled almost the entire time. But then again, I've been very emotional lately, not to mention sensitive to smells and tired. But that's another blog for another time....ha ha.
Ya know it's weird... I think I completely forgot what this blog is about due to the last two sentences. You have news to share Ash...? ;)
ReplyDeleteI have been wanting to see that show since I saw a preview for it weeks ago. Now I know I need to make time for it. I'm sure I would bawl too. Glad to hear it's good. I completely agree with you on this whole crap tv junk. :)

ReplyDeleteare you pregnant!!! i hope so!!!! i love that show and usually cry too, also parenthood is pretty good and if you are going to be a parent you should def. get into it, also i like extreme make over home edition because it is about service too.
