hosh posh of thoughts

Being sick during Thanksgiving AND Christmas break is no beuno. Who do I blame for this sorry injustice?

The nursing program and all those associated.

Reason being is this....when one is stressed, their body has high levels of cortisol. When this occurs for long periods of time, a person's immune system is weakened. Once that stress is relieved (such as around thanksgiving and christmas when i can FINALLY stop doing homework).....the compromised immune system gives in and one gets sick.

As such, I wish to give appreciation to Dr. Heise, Dr. Sudweeks, and Dr. Himes. I appreciate the sickness.

On that note, Christmas was lovely. It was my first Christmas with my dear Stephen. We spent the holiday with my family and I loved it all. The food was great and the company was even greater (minus the part when my adorable nephew threw up all over my new clothes...)

I was very spoiled with new clothes, the movie Toy Story 3 (which let's be honest, it was more for Stephen than for me, but that's ok :) But the best part of Christmas is always....the giving.

And boy did I give :)

I bought my wonderful husband a gun. His first ever. And he was SO excited. I don't even recall the number of times he took time that day and the following day to just "look" at it. It was cute and I'm glad I splurged and got him the gun.

And now for some pics, documentating the festivities.

Ok, so this pic is not from Christmas. Not even close. But I can't find many Christmas pics for some reason and I think this picture is funny

Here we are with the most adorable baby boy, my nephew, Corbin. He seriously smiles all the time and I just love him. (ignore me and stephen cause we look kind of silly)

my old thug life

So....I was looking through my old Jeru pictures and I came across this little gem of a video. I don't know how E-ran will feel about me posting it, but I'm sure when we become famous b/c of it, she'll shower me with praises.

Also, I don't know how to flip the video so feel free to hold your computer on its side if you so feel the desire to do so. Enjoy!

Tricky...

So....I did it. All on my own. I started a blog and I couldn't be more proud of myself :) Now, I shall figure out how to add pictures and add friends because as of right now...it's just me, myself, and I. We'll see how it goes!
